With the option to join at any time, each six week term you can choose to work from the given theme as a starting point or continue with your own work. You will be given instruction on drawing, painting, printmaking & more. Be inspired by artists related to your own interest, & continue to develop your practice & skills as an artist. Summer Term.
The summer term will be focusing on develop your art practice as an artist, from starting points to refining ideas. The course includes artist research for inspiration, media trials, new skills & techniques, developing & refining ideas and lots of home research - if desired - including gallery/museum visits. It is designed to help and support you to identify your subject matter and/or expand on your current theme. I will guide, tutor and encourage you to explore your work further.
Autumn Term
The autumn term will be looking at printmaking using dry-point etching or lino to create unique compositions, motifs or cards. You will be working from your own researched designs and learn a range of skills and techniques in both printing mediums to suit your desired outcomes.
